Our mission is to lead the redevelopment efforts of Mason City's economic and social initiatives.
The Foundation’s focus is on creating a space in town specifically for youth to gather, fostering leadership skills and work ethic.
The first project is the Cackley Coffeehouse & the Student Center next door. The coffee house will be staffed and run by students, helping build employable skill sets and empowering them to stand out as leaders downtown.
In the long term, the Foundation would act as developer and landlord and lease facilities to entrepreneurs interested in opening a business in Mason City.
Funds would continue to be used for downtown building preservation and backing student outreach efforts.
